SEMH TEACHER
We are seeking a passionate and resilient SEMH Teacher to join a specialist provision supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs. This is a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated educator who thrives on making a meaningful difference to young people requiring additional support.You will be responsible for delivering engaging, differentiated lessons to small groups of pupils who may present with challenging behaviour but have significant potential to achieve with the right guidance and support.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to SEMH learnersSupport pupils with emotional regulation and behavioural challengesBuild strong, positive relationships to encourage engagement and trustWork collaboratively with support staff, external professionals, and familiesImplement behaviour management strategies and individual support plansTrack and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching approaches accordinglyThe Ideal CandidateQualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalentExperience working with SEMH, SEND, or challenging behaviour (desirable but not essential)Strong behaviour management skills and emotional resilienceAbility to build rapport quickly and effectivelyA nurturing, patient, and consistent approachCommitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of childrenWhat We OfferSupportive and collaborative working environmentOngoing professional development and training opportunitiesDedicated consultant support throughout your ..... full job details .....
