Job Title: SEMH Teacher - SEN School (KS2/KS3) Location: Farnborough Start Date: November 2025 Contract Type: Full-Time, Term-Time Only Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience and qualificationsAbout the Role: A specialist SEN school in Farnborough is seeking a passionate and resilient SEMH Teacher to join their team full-time from November 2025. The role involves teaching students in Key Stage 2 or 3 who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, within a supportive and structured environment.Key Responsibilities:Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to SEMH learners.Create a safe, nurturing classroom environment that promotes emotional wellbeing and academic progress.Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and pastoral staff to support individual needs.Implement behaviour strategies and promote positive relationships.Track and report on student progress in line with EHCPs and school targets.Requirements:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.Experience working with children with SEMH needs, ideally in a SEN setting.Strong behaviour management and communication skills.A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach.A DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) is essential.Prospero Teaching is acting as an employment business/education recruitment agency in relation to this vacancy.
