SEMH Teacher

Machu Specialist Education is recruiting an SEMH Teacher on behalf of a welcoming specialist SEMH school in Hayes, Middlesex, supporting pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. THE ROLE - Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils'' EHCP outcomes and individual needs - Use trauma-informed, relational approaches to help pupils regulate, re-engage and build confidence - Create a calm, structured and predictable classroom that supports positive behaviour and progress - Work alongside a supportive team including the SENCO, therapists and allied health professionals - Line-manage teaching assistants to maximise outcomes for every pupil in your class WHAT WE''RE LOOKING FOR - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent - Experience teaching pupils with SEMH, SEND or other complex needs - A calm, consistent, empathetic approach and genuine passion for inclusive education - Strong classroom and behaviour management skills - Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check (or hold one on the Update Service) WHAT''S ON OFFER - Competitive salary (MPS/UPS) - A close-knit, ..... full job details .....
