The school uses a ''primary model'' where students have a consistent teacher and mentor, which creates a stable, secure, and familiar environment where they can thrive.Your new role We are seeking an inspiring, compassionate, and resilient SEMH Primary Teacher. In this role, you will deliver highly adaptive, Quality First teaching. You will be responsible for balancing a creative primary curriculum with therapeutic, trauma-informed support. The children are 11 - 16 years old but working at a Primary level.Your students may present with a variety of overlapping needs, including attachment difficulties, ADHD, ASC, and sensory processing needs. You will focus heavily on building trusting relationships, helping children develop emotional regulation, and scaffolding their learning so they can experience academic and personal success.
