SEMH Teacher - Across Doncaster Schools Location: Across Doncaster SchoolsStart Date: ImmediateSalary: £145 - £210 per day (PAYE - no umbrella company fees, depending on experience) + holiday pay Academics is recruiting a SEMH Teacher to work within a SEMH and trauma-informed setting, where students present with SEMH and sensory needs. This is an exceptionally important role, enabling engagement and education for some of the most vulnerable children in education. The Role You will be working in an independent SEMH and trauma-informed setting with a bespoke curriculum, with purpose-built cabins to support sensory learning when required. You will work within multi-disciplinary teams, with very small class sizes with pupils aged 6 to 16 years. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver personalised lessons Adapt learning to meet EHCP targets Support pupils with a range of SEN, including ASC, ADHD and SEMH Promote positive behaviour and independence Work collaboratively with support staff and therapists Follow safeguarding procedures Maintain a calm, consistent and nurturing environment Candidate Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Previous SEN teaching experience, or strong knowledge of specialist education Understanding of Autism, ADHD, SEMH, SLD, PMLD and additional learning needs Enhanced Child and Adult DBS (or willingness to obtain both) What Academics Offer Flexible SEN teaching opportunities Competitive daily rate (£145 - £210), paid weekly - term ..... full job details .....
