Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with teaching staff toandnbsp;design and deliver engaging learning activitiesandnbsp;tailored to individual needs.
- Take aandnbsp;holistic approachandnbsp;to supporting studentsandrsquo;andnbsp;emotional wellbeing, collaborating with families, staff, and external professionals.
- Support the creation and implementation ofandnbsp;Individual Education Plans (IEPs),andnbsp;Behaviour Plans, andandnbsp;Risk Assessments.
- Buildandnbsp;therapeutic relationshipsandnbsp;with students, offering consistent and compassionate support.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Experience working withandnbsp;SENandnbsp;or a strong desire to support children withandnbsp;additional needs.
- Solid understanding ofandnbsp;SEMHandnbsp;and a commitment toandnbsp;professional growthandnbsp;in this area.
- Confident in managingandnbsp;challenging behaviourandnbsp;with a calm and proactive approach.
- Reliable and able to commit toandnbsp;regular working daysandnbsp;(full or part-time).
- Holds a validandnbsp;DBS certificateandnbsp;registered on theandnbsp;Update Service, or willing to apply for one.
- Has relevantandnbsp;training or qualificationsandnbsp;to support learners withandnbsp;complex needs.
