This is an exciting opportunity for graduates, particularly those with a background in Psychology, Educational Psychology, or a related field, who are looking to make a genuine difference in the lives of children with additional needs.This specialist setting supports pupils from Year 1 to Year 6 who have been permanently excluded or are at serious risk of exclusion from mainstream education. All pupils attend on a full-time basis and typically spend a period within the provision before either successfully returning to mainstream education or moving on to a specialist setting.The school provides a nurturing and supportive environment for pupils who may have missed significant parts of their education and who have often experienced negative educational journeys that have impacted their confidence, self-worth, and engagement with learning.The RoleAs an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will: Support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Special Educational Needs (SEN).
