      <description>Location: Ipswich | Salary: &amp;pound;102/day | Type: Permanent | Hours:  8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday  Pay:  £102.56 per day  Start Date:  ASAP  Contract:  Full-time  TeacherActive is currently recruiting for a  Learning Support Assistant  to work within a supportive school setting in Suffolk.  We are looking for a patient, enthusiastic and reliable individual who is passionate about supporting children and young people with their learning and development. You will work closely with teaching staff to provide both classroom and individual support, helping pupils remain engaged, confident and able to access their education. The role will involve:   Supporting pupils on a  1:1 and small-group basis     Assisting the class teacher with lessons and classroom activities    Supporting pupils with  additional learning needs     Helping to manage behaviour positively and consistently    Encouraging pupils'' independence, confidence and social development    Creating a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment    Providing additional pastoral and emotional support where required   The ideal candidate will:   Have previous experience working with children or young people    Ideally have experience within a school, SEND, care or support setting...</description>
