This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and making a genuine difference in their educational journey.Working closely with students who may display challenging behaviours or require additional emotional support, you will play a key role in helping them engage positively with learning, develop coping strategies, and achieve their individual goals.Key Responsibilities:Supporting students with SEMH needs on a 1:1 and small group basis.Building positive and professional relationships with pupils.Promoting emotional regulation, resilience and self-esteem.Managing challenging behaviour using positive behaviour strategies.Working collaboratively with teaching staff and pastoral teams.Encouraging attendance, engagement and participation in lessons.The Ideal Candidate:Experience working with children, young people or vulnerable adults.Strong communication and relationship-building skills.Calm, patient and resilient approach in challenging situations.Background in education, youth work, support work, residential care, ..... full job details .....
