SEMH Support Assistant - KS3Location: Swinton, Salford Contract: Full-time Start date: ASAPTradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a caring, resilient and dedicated SEMH Support Assistant to join a KS3 Support Hub in Swinton, Salford.The successful candidate will support pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs, helping them to engage with learning, manage their emotions and develop positive relationships and behaviours.The role will involve:Providing 1:1 and small-group supportSupporting pupils with SEMH and behavioural needsBuilding positive and trusting relationshipsEncouraging engagement with learningSupporting emotional regulation and positive behaviourWorking closely with teaching staff to provide consistent supportCreating a calm, safe and nurturing environmentWe are looking for someone who is patient, empathetic and confident working with young people who may display challenging behaviour.
