SEMH QTS Primary Teacher

Are you a resilient and passionate Primary Teacher with QTS looking to make a real impact in a SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) setting?

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated SEMH Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive school in the London Borough of Waltham Forest. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with pupils who require additional emotional and behavioural support, helping them re-engage with learning and achieve their full potential.

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with SEMH needs
• Create a structured, supportive, and nurturing classroom environment
• Support pupils with emotional regulation and behaviour management
• Develop strong, positive relationships to build trust and engagement
• Work closely with support staff, SENCO, and external professionals
• Monitor and track pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly

• A supportive and experienced leadership and pastoral team
• A strong focus on staff wellbeing and professional development
• Small class sizes with additional support staff
• A nurturing and inclusive learning environment
• Opportunities for ongoing CPD and career progression

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has experience working with SEMH pupils or challenging behaviour
• Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
