Salary: £170 - £220 per day

These welcoming schools support primary-aged pupils with a variety of additional needs, providing inclusive, nurturing environments where children are encouraged to build confidence, independence and achieve their individual goals.

The schools are looking to appoint committed SEND Teachers on a full-time, long-term basis from September. The successful SEND Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons for pupils with a range of needs including Autism / ASD, Moderate Learning Difficulties / MLD, Severe Learning Difficulties / SLD, Speech and Language needs and Social, Emotional and Mental Health / SEMH. Strong classroom management, excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs are essential.

The successful SEND Teacher will have:

• QTS with experience teaching in a UK primary or SEND setting

• Experience supporting pupils with Autism / ASD, SEMH and additional learning needs

• Strong knowledge of differentiated teaching strategies

• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

• A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach to teaching

• A commitment to creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment
