SEMH Learning Support Assistant NorthamptonLocation: NorthamptonPay: £14 £16 per hourStart Date: ASAP TeacherActive are currently looking for SEMH Learning Support Assistants to work within a college setting in Northampton. We have both temporary and permanent opportunities available for the right candidates. The successful Learning Support Assistant will be working with students who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, providing support both in and outside of the classroom.The role will involve working on a 1:1 basis and with small groups, helping students to engage with their learning, manage their behaviour and develop their confidence and independence.The ideal candidate will have experience working with young people with SEMH, SEND, challenging behaviour or additional needs.
