Intervention Support - SEMH School BoltonFull-time September Start Teaching PersonnelDo you believe that the right support, delivered at the right time, can change a young person''s life?Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school in Bolton to recruit a full-time Intervention Support Practitioner from September. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting pupils who may experience emotional dysregulation, trauma responses, anxiety, attachment needs, ADHD, challenging behaviour, or difficulties with social interaction and self-regulation.This is more than a support role - it''s a chance to be a consistent, calm and positive influence for pupils who need it most. The RoleAs an Intervention Support Practitioner, you will work closely with students on an individual and small-group basis, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and develop the skills they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom.Key Responsibilities:Deliver targeted interventions to support emotional regulation, behaviour, engagement and learningProvide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEMH needsBuild strong, trusting relationships with pupils who may struggle with authority or boundariesSupport pupils to manage behaviour, emotions, and social interactions in a safe, consistent wayWork collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, therapists, and pastoral teamsImplement and follow EHCPs, Behaviour Support ..... full job details .....
