SEMH Inclusion Support Worker

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a SEMH provision in Bradford who are looking to appoint a SEMH Inclusion Support Worker. The provision supports young people with social, emotional and mental health needs, providing a structured and supportive environment where students can engage positively with their education.

The provision is looking to take on a SEMH Inclusion Support Worker for day-to-day or long-term work with an Immediate Start. The successful SEMH Inclusion Support Worker will support students across KS3 and KS4, helping them access learning, manage challenging behaviour and develop positive relationships while providing consistent support tailored to their individual needs.

The successful SEMH Inclusion Support Worker will have:

• Experience supporting young people with SEMH across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Experience supporting students who may display challenging behaviour
• Team Teach training or SEMH and inclusion support training
• Strong behaviour management skills
• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to support individual learning needs
