This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has experience working with young people with SEMH needs, behavioural challenges or additional emotional needs and is confident leading learning activities and managing a classroom environment. The school is looking for someone who can build strong relationships with students, remain calm and consistent when managing challenging behaviour, and provide the structure and support students need to engage positively with their learning. The Role As an SEMH Cover Supervisor, you will play an important role in supporting students both academically and emotionally. Your responsibilities will include: Supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher Delivering pre-planned lessons and learning activities Leading small-group activities and interventions Supporting students with SEMH and behavioural needs Building positive, trusting relationships with students Supporting students with emotional regulation and positive behaviour Maintaining a calm, structured and consistent classroom environment Encouraging students to engage with their learning Supporting students who may experience anxiety, emotional difficulties or barriers to ..... full job details .....
