Prospero Teaching is looking for a passionate, proactive and enthusiastic Class Teacher to promote the learning of pupils in inspirational Alternative Provision Settings in Sunderland on a full-time and long-term basis. About the Role: The role will involve planning and teaching engaging and informative lessons that inspire pupils with SEMH and allows all pupils to make progress. Working with Secondary aged pupils who have been excluded from mainstream School and have SEMH and SEND of varying levels as well as challenging behaviour Building positive relationships with pupils and Teaching Assistants to create excellent learning environments. The role will involve managing challenging behaviour in a positive, proactive and consistent manner Differentiating lessons appropriately to engage pupils and to suit the needs and earning styles of all pupils.
