Class Teacher - PRU Setting Location: Newcastle Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term (Until July 2026) Start Date: ASAP Pay: £130 - £200 per day Hours: 08:30 - 16:00 Make a Real Difference in Alternative Education Are you an experienced, passionate, and proactive Teacher looking to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people who face barriers to learning? We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Class Teacher to join one of our inspirational Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) settings in Newcastle on a full-time, long-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to build strong relationships with pupils and support their personal, social, and academic development in a highly rewarding environment. About the Role In this role, you will plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and help them make meaningful progress. Your responsibilities will include: Planning and delivering creative and engaging lessons that inspire and motivate learners Teaching secondary-aged pupils within a PRU setting, many of whom have SEMH needs and challenging behaviour Building positive, supportive relationships with pupils and Teaching Assistants Managing behaviour using consistent, proactive, and positive strategies Differentiating lessons to suit individual learning styles and abilities Using a range of assessment methods to monitor pupil progress ..... full job details .....
