The provision offers a supportive and structured environment, helping young people overcome barriers to learning and develop socially, emotionally and academically.The provision is looking for an SEMH Behaviour Support Assistant for short-term or long-term work depending on availability, with an ASAP start. The successful SEMH Behaviour Support Assistant will support students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health / SEMH needs, helping to manage challenging behaviour, encourage positive engagement and provide consistent support throughout the school day.The successful SEMH Behaviour Support Assistant will have:• Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH needs or challenging behaviour• Experience working within an alternative provision, SEND setting or similar environment is desirable• Strong behaviour management skills• The ability to build positive and professional relationships with students• A patient, ..... full job details .....
