The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and the ability to create a friendly and inviting environment for guests, making the pub a real hub for the community as well as attracting guests from further afieldThe pub comes with excellent manager accommodation comprising 3 bedrooms, kitchen, lounge, and bathroom.Key Responsibilities:Recruit, train, and inspire a sizable teamManage the day-to-day operations of the pub, ensuring exceptional team motivation to deliver first class service so gaining guest loyaltyOversee stock management and order supplies as required.Execute marketing strategies to increase visit frequency of existing guests and attract new ones.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulationsTake ownership of the operation and be the face of the pubRequirements:Proven experience as a Publican / Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.Strong leadership and management abilities.Ability to demonstrate excellent recruitment, training and deployment of teamEffective communication and interpersonal skills.A genuine passion for creating a positive pub experience and inspiring those momentsThe pub and localityThe Ship Inn sits in a prominent hillside location.
