Security Team Leader Location: Grays, EssexSalary: £36,685 per annumContract: Permanent, full timeHours: 40 hours per week across 4 shifts, working a 4 on / 4 off rota including both day and night shiftsAbout the role We are recruiting for an experienced Security Team Leader to support the delivery of a safe, secure and welcoming environment within a busy public-facing property environment. This is a hands-on supervisory role, supporting the Security Manager with day-to-day operations, team leadership, incident response and high standards of customer service.The successful candidate will provide direction and support to Security Officers on shift, ensure operational procedures are followed, and act as a calm, professional point of escalation during incidents, emergencies and customer-facing situations.Key responsibilities Supervise daily security operations, ensuring duties are completed in line with site procedures, SIA requirements and legal obligations.Lead shift briefings, allocate tasks and provide guidance, support and escalation for Security Officers.Maintain a visible, approachable and professional presence, supporting a safe and positive experience for visitors, occupiers, contractors and colleagues.Respond effectively to incidents, alarms, emergencies and first aid situations, prioritising safety and clear communication.Monitor CCTV, access control and incident reporting systems, escalating issues where appropriate.Complete accurate incident reports, logs, ..... full job details .....
