Security Systems Engineer

Security Systems Engineer - Bath and Bristol - 32k- 40k plus overtime and on-call opportunities We are supporting an established fire and security business with the recruitment of an experienced Security Systems Engineer to cover Bath, Bristol and the surrounding areas. This is a predominantly service and maintenance role, offering plenty of variety across residential and commercial properties. You will be working with a business that values engineers who take ownership of their work, enjoy building relationships with customers and want to deliver a service they can be proud of. The role You will be responsible for keeping electronic security systems operating effectively, carrying out planned maintenance, resolving faults and completing smaller works as required. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Servicing and maintaining CCTV, access control, door entry and intercom systems. Identifying and resolving technical faults across electronic security systems. Carrying out reactive repairs and planned preventative maintenance. Completing smaller installation works and system upgrades. Responding to customer call-outs and providing technical support. Maintaining accurate service records and job documentation. Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with relevant standards. Working closely with the service coordination team to ensure jobs run smoothly.
