Are you a Senior Security Systems Engineer or Security Consultant with experience managing formal technical interfaces across major projects?Do you understand physical and electronic security systems, but also have the experience to bring multiple contractors, designs and interfaces together within a structured engineering environment?Salary: Birmingham: £65,853.60 to £77,474.40 London: £71,121.60 to £83,672.40Location: Birmingham or London, with hybrid working, 3 days per week in the office and 2 from home Closing date: 19th OctoberI am recruiting a Senior Security Systems Engineer to join the Rail Systems Engineering team working on HS2.My client is looking for someone who combines a strong understanding of physical and electronic security systems with experience of formal design, interface and risk management on large, complex projects.This is less about being the person designing an individual CCTV or access control system and more about ensuring multiple systems, contractors and packages integrate successfully into the wider programme.You will work across Access Control, CCTV, Intruder Detection Systems, Video Management Systems and Physical Security Information Management systems, providing engineering assurance and coordinating interfaces across stations, depots and railway infrastructure.A major part of the role will be formal interface management.
