This role is key in building and improving Primark’s Cyber Security posture.Duties and ResponsibilitiesProgress and improve Primark’s cyber security posture through project delivery aligned with industry best practicesEnsure project deliverables align with the Cyber Roadmap, addressing strategic objectives and gapsAdvise and lead solutions with internal teams and outsourced partners, including business case development and contractual arrangementsImplement metrics for auditing and managing vendor performanceCoordinate resources, prepare delivery teams, and ensure milestones are metManage scope from inception to service delivery, defining and developing implementation schedulesMaintain a roadmap of initiatives for prioritisationFocus on quality, value for money, and compliance with standardsCoordinate cross-functional teams, assign tasks, and meet deadlinesReport on programme status regularly and participate in governance meetingsSupport daily prioritisation, scope management, and troubleshoot issuesSkills and ExperienceEssential8+ years’ experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologiesRelevant certifications such as Prince2, PMP, Scrum, SAFe, AgilePM, or Information Security certificationsDesirablePassionate and visionary technologist with experience in cyber security delivery and programme management, preferably in retailStrong technical knowledge across IT disciplines, including cloud and network securityExperience managing large, complex programmes with offshore vendorsKnowledge of security standards (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, GDPR, SOC 2)Hands-on experience in technology delivery from initiation to implementationResource and budget management skillsStrong communication and problem-solving abilitiesBusiness ContextGrowth and transformation at PrimarkExpansion into new markets and store growthEnhancing customer experience and sustainability initiativesCyber Security and Technology at the core of this growthWe welcome applications from candidates who may not meet all criteria but are eager to contribute and grow with us.
