Security Officer

G4S are looking for a Security Officer to work at a bustling pharmaceutical and biotechnology company in Barnard Castle. We are looking for security personnel who are passionate about creating a safe and secure environment and demonstrate honesty and integrity all whilst delivering customer service to the highest level. You will be required to carry out duties in a busy environment and have the opportunity to carve out a career with the biggest name in security. Position: Security Officer Location: Barnard Castle Pay Rate: £13.51 per hour Hours: 57.50 hours per week Shifts: Monday to Friday - 06:00 - 17.30 Must have a full UK driving licence and your own vehicle. SIA license preferred. Your Time at Work As a Security Officer at this site you will be responsible for: - Ensuring everyone follows the security and safety protocols of the site - Reporting any faults, health and safety hazards and unsafe working practices to site security supervisor - Controlling access and managing the control system - Liaising with a variety of people, including contractors, site-based and corporate staff, and any regulators that come to the site - Responding to emergency situations - Carrying out routine tests of security equipment as directed by the site security supervisor - Monitoring CCTV and being able to replay and download clips as requested - Fully understanding the use of the I.T. systems and ensuring the correct application of the I.T security policy - Reporting concerns when ..... full job details .....
