Birmingham, B3 3AXBenefits include:Financial support for SIA Licensing and renewalCycle to work salary sacrifice schemeCompany Pension schemeLife Assurance benefitsProgression, training, and development opportunitiesAdditional benefits we offer via ourReWardmembership :Discounted gym membershipDiscounts at major retailers and travel suppliersRestaurant and Supermarket vouchersCinema ticketsAccess to 24/7 free Employee Assistance programmeResponsibilitesProvide operational and strategic leadership to a large on-site security team.Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, tenants, and external bodies including local authorities and emergency services.Develop and maintain robust security procedures for the estate’s unique environment.Act as the key liaison for all security matters, attending stakeholder meetings and representing the security team at the highest level.Lead emergency response efforts and develop contingency planningDay-to-day oversight of on-site security operations and control room management.Conducting security assessments, identifying risk, and implementing solutions.Managing all CCTV, access control systems, and sensitive data protocols.Lead the recruitment, training, and development of team leaders and security officers to ensure high performance and operational excellence.Ensuring all security staff are correctly licensed, scheduled, and supported.Supporting estate events and operations with a hands-on, solutions-oriented mindset.Upholding and enforcing all health and safety, emergency response, and site protocols.Must HavesProven Security Manager experience managing large security teams – 2 yearsExcellent leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.Deep understanding of security systems, incident management, and compliance standards.Comfortable attending high-level meetings and presenting new initiatives confidently.Remain calm under pressure, with strong decision-making skills in emergency situations.Who We Are:Ward Security provides security services solutions to a range of UK businesses.
