ROLE: Security Intruder Alarm Engineer - Access Control and CCTV

You will join as an experienced Security Engineer, tasked with diagnosing faults and performing maintenance across a variety of security systems, with a focus on Intruder Alarms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the security sector and practical experience working with Intruder Alarms, CCTV, and Access Control systems. Knowledge of key platforms such as Honeywell Galaxy, Texecom, and Scantronic is highly desirable. This is a field-based role covering Leicester, Coventry, and nearby areas, so the ability to travel regularly is essential.

EXPERIENCE: Security Intruder Alarm Engineer - Access Control and CCTV

You will be a skilled Security Engineer with proven experience in diagnosing faults and performing remedial work on Intruder Alarms, CCTV, and Access Control systems. The ideal candidate will be confident with wiring and possess a solid understanding of electronic principles. Familiarity with systems from Honeywell Galaxy, Texecom, and Scantronic is highly desirable. Relevant qualifications in security or electrical disciplines will be an advantage.

Certifications such as FIA, BTEC, or NVQ Level 2/3 in Electronic Security and Emergency Systems, along with NSI or SSAIB accreditations, will strengthen your application. A valid UK driving licence is required, as the role involves regular travel to client sites.
