Security Guard Location: Watford, WD25 Salary: £36,565 per annum, negotioable for the right person Hours: 6:00am to 5:15pm Monday Friday, Alternate Saturdays 7:00am to 4:15pm About The Role: As the Security Guard you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises, customers, and staff at this busy builder''s merchant. This security guard role requires a proactive individual who can handle a variety of situations calmly and efficiently. Check for customers who behave suspiciously and carry out search of suspects. Check and collect customer receipts. Patrol all areas of the shop, including blind spots not just exits and counter. Patrol back yard and alleyway. Check showroom, basement, and storeroom. Log all incidents to discuss with the store manager on a weekly basis. Carry out random spot checks Check premises at close of day and leave with the last member of staff. Monitor traffic wardens outside the store and notify any customers who have vehicles parked outside. Check delivery tickets on company vehicles.
