Security Engineer

Leading Security Installation organisation seeks an experienced Security Engineer to install, service and maintain intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems across customer sites, ensuring full compliance with Company and BS EN/PD standards. Successful candidates for the Security Engineer will demonstrate extensive experience across security systems, a proactive can do attitude and the ability to work independently as well as within a wider engineering team. BS7858 security screening and a full clean UK driving licence are essential. Occasional overnight stays required. The role covers the West Midlands area. Duties of Security Engineer: Install, service, commission and maintain intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems to current BS EN/PD standards Diagnose faults across all security disciplines and carry out effective repairs and corrective actions Complete small works, system upgrades and equipment replacements as required Work efficiently within the engineering team to ensure project deadlines and targets are achieved Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and compliant with industry regulations and RAMS Maintain accurate documentation, reports and compliance records Participate in the on-call rota and be available for occasional overnight stays Attend company meetings and follow all company procedures Maintain exceptional levels of customer service and client communication Conduct all activities in a professional manner, supporting the wider ..... full job details .....
