We are looking for an experienced Security Installation and Service Engineer to join our growing team in Barrow-in-Furness. This is a stable, long-term opportunity for a skilled engineer who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and professional customer service.

The Role

Reporting to the management team, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of electronic security systems.

Key responsibilities include:

• Installation and commissioning of security systems
• Maintenance, servicing, and fault finding
• Supporting remote monitoring systems when required
• Completing job sheets and audit paperwork (manual and electronic)
• Representing the company professionally on customer sites

Requirements

Essential experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the security systems industry (excluding training)
• Competent in installation and commissioning of security systems
• Strong maintenance and fault-finding skills
• Willingness to participate in a 24-hour call-out rota
• Good understanding of NSI Gold standards
• Full UK driving licence

Screening requirements

• BS7858:2009 screening
• Security Check (SC) clearance
• Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS)
• Police check
