Security Engineer
Our client is a leading provider of integrated cyber and physical security solutions, delivering critical security infrastructure for Scottish Power. Due to continued growth and the award of new contracts, they are looking to recruit experienced Security Installation Engineers to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile utility infrastructure projects across the Central Belt, installing and maintaining industry-leading security systems. The Role As a Security Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of security systems across Scottish Power sites, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities Install electric perimeter fencing, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems. Carry out maintenance and fault-finding on bespoke security systems. Identify, report, and rectify defects and installation snags. Manage van stock, including replenishment and regular stock checks. Diagnose faults and provide effective technical solutions. Demonstrate completed systems to clients and end users. Arrange PAT testing and calibration of company-issued equipment. Complete asset tagging and maintain accurate installation records.
