Section Engineer / Senior Engineer – RAF Coningsby (Lincolnshire)

Contract Role 

We are currently seeking an experienced Section Engineer or Senior Engineer to join a major infrastructure project at RAF Coningsby. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile scheme, supporting the successful delivery of concrete paving and airfield works.

• Oversee and coordinate daily site activities to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification.
• Manage and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
• Supervise concrete paving and laying operations, ensuring quality standards are maintained.
• Review drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Ensure compliance with QA procedures and ITP requirements.
• Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records and support progress reporting.

• Proven experience working as a Section Engineer or Senior Engineer on civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Strong background in concrete paving and concrete laying operations.
• Previous experience supervising and developing junior engineers.
• Good understanding of QA processes, ITPs, and health and safety requirements.
• Ability to coordinate multiple work activities and stakeholders.
• CSCS card essential.
• SMSTS preferred.
