Section Manager - Foundation Learning (SEND)Salary: £47,939 - £52,165 per annum (including London weighting)Hours: 36 hours per week, full yearLocation: North LondonContract: PermanentAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and inspiring Section Manager - Foundation Learning (SEND) to lead curriculum delivery and staff within a specialist Foundation Learning provision. This is a key leadership role, combining strategic curriculum management with a hands-on teaching commitment, supporting learners with a wide range of learning difficulties and disabilities, including SLD, PMLD and SEND pathways up to Entry and Level 1.You will play a central role in ensuring high-quality provision, excellent learner outcomes, and a fully inclusive learning environment, while contributing to the continued development of SEND and supported employability programmes, including Supported Internships.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, manage and develop Foundation Learning programmes, ensuring outstanding teaching, learning and assessmentTeach across Foundation Learning provision (up to 17 hours per week during term time)Manage and support teaching, support and agency staff, acting as a role model for inclusive practiceOversee curriculum planning, schemes of work, assessment schedules and awarding body requirementsDrive recruitment, retention, achievement and progression of SEND learnersEnsure implementation of employability, enrichment, SEND, Skills for Life and careers strategiesMonitor quality, ..... full job details .....
