Section Engineer

We are working with a well-established and forward-thinking civil engineering contractor to assist them in hiring a Section Engineer for their growing team. As the Section Engineer your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

* Managing and overseeing a section of works on-site to ensure delivery against programme and quality standards
* Coordinating with site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
* Ensuring all works are carried out in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
* Reviewing and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
* Assisting with planning, forecasting, and reporting on project progress
* Supporting the Site Agent/Project Manager with daily operational tasks

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

* Proven experience in a similar Section Engineer or Site Engineer role within civil engineering
* Strong understanding of construction processes and site management
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
* A proactive approach with strong problem-solving capabilities
