Section Engineer

We’re recruiting a Section Engineer with a main contractor for a major roads and structures project in Kent. The project is underway with the possibility of further phases of work through 2027. The contractor is renowned for their culture, excellence in delivery and development of people with a good track record and pipeline in the South East.

The main of scope of work comprises of a new 500m carriageway, with a 250 meter viaduct spanning a river, floodplain and railway line - the structure will feature five spans. 

It is essential you have experience of working on heavy civils – maintenance of structures and highways will not be considered.

Section Engineer duties:

• Setting out and surveying (Total Station & GPS)
• Produce as built drawings in AutoCAD
• Quality control throughout construction process and ITP check sheets
• Problem solving design changes, material changes.

The package reflects the role, car allowance/car, bonus scheme, pension contributions and 26 days holiday (option sell/purchase).
