Section Engineer

Section Engineer Civils Location: Gatwick Airport, West Sussex Sector: Civil Engineering / Aviation Employment: Permanent We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site / Section Engineer to join a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering a programme of infrastructure works at Gatwick Airport. The role will involve taking responsibility for your own area or scope of works, carrying out setting out and supporting the successful delivery of a range of civils packages within a live airport environment. Projects will include infrastructure alterations and extensions, demolition and enabling works, external works and upgrades to existing operational facilities. Key Responsibilities: Carry out setting out for civil engineering works. Take responsibility for an allocated area or specific scope of works. Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings and specifications. Coordinate with Site Managers, Project Managers, subcontractors and site teams. Carry out quality checks, inspections and maintain accurate site records. Assist with RAMS, permits and technical documentation. Monitor progress and identify technical or delivery issues. Ensure works are completed safely and to the required quality standards. Support the delivery of multiple civils packages within a live operational environment.
