Job Title: Section EngineerLocation: Near Peterhead, Aberdeenshire (AB42 area / approx. 12 mins from Peterhead Town Centre)Role Type: Full-TimeAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Section Engineer to join our project delivery team near Peterhead. In this role, you will lead engineering controls, quality management, health and safety standards, productivity tracking, and commercial reporting across site operations.Key ResponsibilitiesEngineering and Setting Out: Carry out complex setting out, establish primary setting out control, and mentor junior engineering staff on setting out techniques.Quality Assurance: Produce Activity Control Plans (ACPs), maintain comprehensive quality records, monitor construction tolerances, and raise/manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Technical Queries (TQs).Health, Safety and Environment: Prepare Method Statements, Risk Assessments (RAMS), and Temporary Works Briefs; manage Permits to Work; and conduct short-term visitor inductions.Productivity and Planning: Develop weekly programmes aligned with stage programmes, monitor progress against KPIs, and communicate targets directly to the workforce.Commercial Support: Collate weekly measures, perform plant and labour reconciliations, monitor waste against budgets, and identify items of additional work for notifications.Key Requirements and ExperienceProven experience carrying out complex setting out and setting out control on civil infrastructure/construction projects.Strong ..... full job details .....
