ROLE TITLE Section Engineer - Major construction, Civils, Earthworks.REPORTS TO Sub AgentACCOUNTABILITIES GeneralSupport the senior project team in the overall implementation of the engineering strategy and framework for the designated project;The provision of sketches detailing the setting out information installedMaintain and use a variety survey equipmentAssist Sub Agent in management of materials, plant and labourUnderstand subcontractor attendances for the works and report when there is variation.Assist Sub Agent in providing concise and accurate feedback on project performance against estimate to the estimating function (where required);Understand and help prepare QA documentation such as ITPs and associated check sheets for the works as required.Recording of site events in diaries, photos, recordsWorks to Weekly Programme and knows upcoming targets Health Safety and EnvironmentalProduces Method Statements and Risk AssessmentsPrepares and raises Temporary Works BriefsCompletes Accident Book and associated reports as requiredPrepares Permits QualityAssist in preparation of ITPs and check sheetsCarry out site inspectionsActively uses the Specification as a reference documentMaintains a comprehensive filing system of quality recordsIdentifies, raises and actions Non-Conformance ReportsIdentifies and raises Technical Queries with possible solutions TechnicalCarry out complex setting outProvision of ''primary'' setting out control and recognizes the optimum location for ..... full job details .....
