Section Engineer

We''re looking for a Section Engineer to join our Earthworks team based in Hinkley Point C. Location: Hinkley Point CHours: Project shift pattern - 11 days on, 3 days off (starting every other Monday), 07:00 - 17:00 We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role. We''re seeking a well-rounded individual to join our Earthworks team at Hinkley Point C. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a large-scale project where you''ll use your technical knowledge and communication skills to support effective delivery across multiple organisations. You''ll play a key role in ensuring technical compliance, whilst delivering work safely, on time, and to the required quality standards. What will you be responsible for? As a Section Engineer, you''ll be working within the Earthworks team, supporting them in delivering large scale earthworks operations with technical compliance and quality. Your day to day will include: Coordinating and analysing data using digital dashboards and drone survey information Overseeing technical delivery of material classification, ensuring compliance with design specifications and project requirements Monitoring site progress, conducting inspections and quality checks to ensure work meets contractual and regulatory standards Identifying and resolving issues, collaborating with project managers, site teams, subcontractors and regulatory authorities Maintaining accurate site records, including progress reports, quality ..... full job details .....
