Section Engineer

We''re looking for a Section Engineer to join our Sizewell C Project team based in Suffolk. Location: Sizewell C Project, SuffolkHours: Typically 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us. We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role. As a Section Engineer, you will plan, provide engineering control, and supervise site operations for a defined section of works within a highly regulated nuclear infrastructure environment. You''ll act as the technical lead on site, supporting the Sub-Agent to ensure works are executed correctly, efficiently, and safely. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a major infrastructure project whilst making a real impact. What will you be responsible for? As a Section Engineer, you''ll be working within the Sizewell C Project team, supporting them in delivering safe, high-quality construction activities. Your day to day will include: Interpreting and implementing drawings, specifications, and design requirements on site, Supervising site operations and coordinating engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently, while maintaining strong working relationships, Assisting with short-term planning, programme updates, and progress tracking to keep the project on schedule, Producing and reviewing risk assessments and method statements, and delivering safety briefings to promote a strong ..... full job details .....
