Section Engineer

Section Engineer Are you an experienced Section Engineer looking for your next freelance opportunity on a major infrastructure project? We are currently recruiting for a Section Engineer to join a major infrastructure project, working with a leading Tier 1 contractor. This is a long-term freelance position, ideal for an engineer with strong experience across roads, structures or utilities and a background working on large-scale infrastructure schemes. The Role As Section Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of your allocated section of works, working closely with the Site Agent, Sub-Agent and wider project team to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards. You will be involved in the day-to-day engineering delivery of the project, including setting out, quality assurance, technical queries, subcontractor management and monitoring progress against programme. Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate engineering activities across your allocated section of works Provide technical support to the Site Agent and wider delivery team Undertake setting out and dimensional control Review drawings, specifications and construction information Produce and review RAMS, WPPs and ITPs Raise and manage TQs, NCRs and technical queries Coordinate and monitor subcontractors and site activities Monitor progress against programme and contribute to short-term lookahead planning Ensure works are completed in accordance ..... full job details .....
