Section Engineer

Civils Section Engineer Heathrow Airport (Inside IR35 - Umbrella PAYE) We are currently recruiting for an experienced Section Engineer to join a major civil engineering project at Heathrow Airport. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile infrastructure scheme involving a variety of civils packages including earthworks, drainage, utilities, highways, reinforced concrete, and groundworks, within one of the UK''s most challenging operational environments. Key Responsibilities Managing engineering activities across allocated work sections. Supporting the Sub Agent and Project Team with safe and efficient project delivery. Producing and reviewing RAMS, ITPs, task briefs, and permits. Managing site engineers, subcontractors, and direct labour. Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with design specifications and programme requirements. Overseeing quality assurance, inspections, and as-built records. Coordinating setting out activities and technical queries. Monitoring progress and reporting on programme performance. Maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance. Requirements Previous experience as a Section Engineer or Senior Site Engineer on major civils or infrastructure projects. Strong technical knowledge of: Earthworks Drainage Utilities Highways Reinforced Concrete Structures Groundworks Experience managing engineering teams and subcontractors.
