Secretary and Compliance Officer

My client based in St Ives Cambridgeshire are currently recruiting for a Company Secretary and Compliance Officer to join their team on a full time permanent basis.

Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 DOE

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Company Secretarial professional to join our UK practice. The role involves managing statutory compliance, maintaining company records, and supporting a portfolio of clients with share transactions, reorganisations, and corporate filings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file Companies House forms, maintain statutory registers, and manage incorporations.
• Act as first point of contact for company secretarial clients and liaise with accountants, solicitors, and banks.
• Support internal compliance, AML processes, and practice management systems.
• Assist with client onboarding, billing, and engagement updates.

Skills & Experience:

• 2–3 years’ company secretarial experience in a UK practice.
• Strong knowledge of the Companies Act 2006 and Companies House filings.
• Experience with secretarial software (e.g., CCH) and managing multiple deadlines.
• CGI (ICSA) part-qualified or qualified by experience desirable.
