Teacher of History (KS3-KS4)

Hours: Ideally full-time (5 days per week)

Premier Education is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in the Stockport area seeking an enthusiastic and committed History Teacher to join their team for the Summer Term.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator who enjoys bringing history to life and inspiring students across Key Stages 3 and 4 within a supportive and welcoming school environment.

Role Overview:

• Teaching History across KS3 and KS4

• Planning and delivering engaging and well-structured lessons

• Assessing, monitoring, and supporting pupil progress

• Maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment

• Contributing to the wider Humanities department

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification

• Experience teaching History at KS3 and KS4

• Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills

• A proactive, adaptable, and professional approach

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
