Secondary Tutor - Wirral Location: Wirral Hours: 5-15 hours per week Start Date: September 2026 Duration: Ongoing Prospero Teaching are seeking a flexible Secondary Tutor to provide 1:1 educational support to a learner in Wirral. The role would suit an adaptable educator who can confidently support a secondary-aged learner across core subjects while creating engaging sessions tailored to their individual needs. Key Responsibilities Provide personalised 1:1 tuition Support learning across relevant secondary subjects Plan engaging and appropriately challenging sessions Adapt delivery according to learner progress Encourage positive attitudes towards education Build a strong professional relationship with the learner Provide feedback on progress and engagement Requirements Previous experience working with secondary-aged pupils Teaching or tutoring experience Good knowledge of the secondary curriculum Ability to adapt lessons to different abilities and needs Excellent communication and organisation Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one Right to Work in the UK Two professional child-related references Prospero Teaching is acting as an employment business and education recruitment agency in relation to this vacancy. ..... full job details .....
