Secondary Teaching Assistant

The Role As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you will: Support students in lessons across a range of subjects and year groups. Work closely with teachers to deliver engaging learning experiences. Provide one-to-one and small group support where required. Assist students with additional learning, behavioural, or pastoral needs. Encourage student engagement, confidence, and independence. Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Support the implementation of individual learning plans and intervention programmes. The Ideal Candidate We are looking for candidates who: Have experience working with young people in an educational, youth work, coaching, mentoring, or support setting. Are patient, adaptable, and resilient. Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Can build positive relationships with students and staff.
