Secondary Teaching Assistant

Contract Type: Full-time, Long-Term Start Date: September 2026 About the Role Exclusive Education is currently recruiting a Secondary Teaching Assistant for a welcoming secondary school in Tameside. This long-term opportunity is ideal for an experienced Teaching Assistant, a recent graduate or an aspiring teacher. Working across Key Stages 3 and 4, you will support students in lessons, deliver small group interventions, and help create a positive and engaging learning environment. Key Responsibilities Support students within the classroom across a range of subjects Deliver one-to-one and small group support where required Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities Promote positive behaviour and student engagement Support students with varying learning abilities and needs Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment You will need 2 references which comment on you working with young people or in a care setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills Patient, enthusiastic, and flexible approach Eligible to work in the UK Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one What Exclusive Education Offers Competitive pay of 95- 105 per day.
