Tradewind Education is seeking enthusiastic, dedicated and adaptable Secondary Teachers to work in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in Retford.

We are looking for passionate educators who can inspire students, deliver engaging lessons and make a positive impact on young people''s learning and development. Whether you are an experienced teacher seeking flexible work or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain valuable classroom experience, we would love to hear from you!

We have a variety of opportunities available, including day-to-day supply, short-term placements and long-term roles across a range of secondary subjects. This is an excellent opportunity to work flexibly, broaden your teaching experience and become part of a supportive school community.

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that meet the needs of students across Key Stages 3 and 4, and Key Stage 5 where appropriate.
• Teach across a variety of secondary subjects, depending on your specialism, experience and the needs of the school.
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment where all students are encouraged to achieve their potential.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, maintaining high standards of student conduct and engagement.
• Assess students'' progress, provide constructive feedback and adapt teaching approaches to support individual learning needs.
• Follow school policies, procedures and safeguarding requirements at all times.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to promote student progress and wellbeing.
• Ensure continuity of learning during staff absences and contribute positively to the wider school community.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification, where applicable to the role.
• Experience teaching within a secondary school setting, or a strong commitment to developing your teaching career.
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons within your area of expertise.
• Excellent classroom management, communication and organisational skills.
• A flexible, proactive and adaptable approach to teaching, with the ability to respond confidently to different classroom environments.
• A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.
• A clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.
• The ability to provide professional references and complete the necessary pre-employment and safeguarding checks, including an enhanced DBS check where required.
