Secondary Teachers Required

Salary: £375 - £525 per week (15 hours per week)

TeacherActive is proud to be working with local authorities and alternative provisions throughout Leicester to recruit Tutors who are passionate about supporting vulnerable learners. Many pupils require additional support due to SEND, SEMH, medical needs or other barriers that impact their ability to engage with mainstream education.

The successful Tutor will deliver approximately 15 hours of tuition per week, working with pupils on a 1:1 basis. Tuition may take place in a child''s home, education centre or local library. You will be responsible for creating personalised learning plans, delivering Maths, English and Functional Skills sessions, and adapting learning to support pupils working below expected standards across Primary and Secondary age groups.

The successful Tutor will have:

• QTS or a minimum of 6 months'' experience delivering 1:1 tuition
• Experience supporting children and young people with SEND
• Strong understanding of adaptive teaching and personalised learning
• Knowledge of Pre-Key Stage assessment and measuring small-step progress
• Experience teaching Maths, English or Functional Skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
