Secondary schools across Ashford and Canterbury are regularly relying on us for high-quality supply secondary teachers, and we are looking to expand our bank of reliable educators to support this growing demand.We work with a number of trusted partner schools throughout the area who need teachers for daily general cover, as well as short and longer-term subject-specific roles that often develop from supply placements.If you enjoy the flexibility of supply but would also welcome the opportunity to move into a longer-term role when the right one appears, this is an ideal opportunity to build strong relationships with local schools.Secondary Teacher responsibilities:Deliver pre-planned lessons for general cover across KS3-KS4Maintain strong classroom management and keep pupils engaged in learningAdapt quickly to different classroom environments and school settingsFor longer-term roles, commit to full duration and where required take on full teaching responsibilities including planning and markingSupport schools in maintaining consistent learning during teacher absenceSecondary Teacher requirements:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised in the UKRecent experience teaching in secondary classroomsConfident behaviour and classroom management skillsFlexibility to travel across Ashford, Canterbury and surrounding areasProfessional, reliable and adaptable approach to teachingMany of our Canterbury schools regularly take teachers from daily supply into longer-term ..... full job details .....
